A research institute promoting the study of Pentecostalisms in Sweden and in the world

A cooperation between the Faculty of Theology, Uppsala University and the Pentecostal Theological Seminary of Sweden, Uppsala

The Institute for Pentecostal Studies was founded in 2007:

to promote and carry out research about Swedish and international Pentecostal movements
to bring together and support researchers from different disciplines who investigate Pentecostalism in one form or another
to create basis material for the Swedish Pentecostal movement to be used in their revision and renewal of identity, theology and activities
to provide assistance to international Pentecostal movements in their search for roots and their history, especially those with origins in Scandinavia
